COUSINS UNDERCOVER

Anthony Carrino and John Colaneri were HGTV’s favorite cousins. They started on the network as the Kitchen Cousins, a show primarily based around kitchen renovation. However, HGTV wanted to expand their reach by placing the cousins on a new show, Cousins Undercover, where they surprise deserving recipients with a makeover. The mandate was to show the cousins as real, down-to-earth guys, while telling the story of their new series. We shot the interviews in a small Brooklyn cafe, just blocks from Anthony’s home. The camera work was loose and docustyle to present a less polished, more authentic point of view, and the key art is more of a “snapshot” of the cousins making their way to the next job.
Cousins Undercover was marketed across all platforms, from to TV to print, to digital to mobile.
